Vinicius, Rodrygo and Militao rejoin Real Madrid squad in Chicago

Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes and Eder Militao rejoined Real Madrid’s pre-season stage in Chicago this Thursday and they also went through their first full training session of the summer. All three of them featured for Brazil in the past Copa America, so they had some days off before they had to start their pre-season stage.

With Real Madrid taking on FC Barcelona in El Clasico this Saturday —7pm EST— the hope is that Vinicius, Rodrygo and Militao can play some minutes to improve their conditioning and get ready for the start of the season.

This will be a very important pre-season stage for Eder Militao, who is still trying to regain the form he had before the ACL tear he suffered a year ago. Militao looked like a shell of his former self during the last few games of the 2023-24 season for Real Madrid but he also made some important progress and improvements during the Copa America, so it will be interesting to see if he can be the dominant defender he was before his injury.
