Reinier still not receiving any offers to leave Real Madrid — report

Real Madrid have yet to receive any formal offers for Reinier Jesus, according to a report from AS.

Reinier Jesus, who joined the club in 2020 as part of their youth signing policy after success with Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr, has failed in every way imaginable at Real Madrid. He has had three unsuccessful loan spells since joining the club, and has yet to even make his debut for the club.

Reinier has not had any luck since coming back from his loan spell at Frosinone — he has been training with Castilla and waiting for offers from other clubs. Real Madrid might be left with no choice but to have him registered as a Castilla player should they not find any offers for the Brazilian midfielder.

That may not be ideal, but it is also not the worst thing for Reinier, as he would be able to play in the third division of Spain, gain some much-needed confidence and continuity, and even help Castilla make a run for the playoffs. He is too good to be playing at this level — as seen in the friendlies — but this might bring up Reinier’s value just enough to potentially move to a top-level club next summer.
